Infant Care

For our youngest (and cutest!) children aged 2 months to 18 months, our Infant Care Programme is closely guided by the five guiding principles of the Early Years Development Framework set by Early Childhood Development Agency.

Safe & Healthy Environment

Our infants and toddlers grow, explore and develop in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment while cared for by our dedicated teachers.

Physical, Socio-emotional & Cognitive Development

Thematic learning experiences are woven into the daily routine care of our infants and toddlers. Attention is given to developmental milestones, and opportunities are provided to develop fine and gross motor skills. Through sensorial learning and play activities, early mathematics and literacy skills are also introduced to the older toddlers.

The KidsCampus Approach

KidsCampus provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, play and grow.

Our childcare curriculum is guided by the Nurturing Early Learners framework set by the Ministry of Education to nurture children holistically in both core values and learning dispositions. It is centered around various themes that integrates different developmental areas and domains.

Additionally, a Spiral curriculum approach introduces and reinforces concepts and skills, from the simple to complex, and in increasing breadth and depth for each age-group.

A variety of materials, strategies and modalities are incorporated in our activities and learning experiences to actively engage children’s learning and development.

Holistic Development

Our curriculum places equal importance on each of the following ability areas - physical; intellectual-cognitive; emotional; social; moral; creative; and aesthetics.

Purposeful Play

Daily experiences and activities allow children to build on their prior experiences to acquire new understanding and ideas. Participation in purposeful play encourages children to apply their knowledge and skills through interactions with objects, people, and the physical environment in meaningful ways.

The major developmental areas and domains covered in our curriculum includes:-

  • Language and Literacy (English & Mandarin);

  • Numeracy;

  • Discovery of the World;

  • Values, Social & Emotional Competencies and Learning Dispositions

  • Aesthetics and Creative Expression (Art & Music);

  • Health, Safety and Motor Skills Development; and the

Language and Literacy (English & Mandarin)

Our integrated bilingual curriculum engages children in different activities such as:- storytelling; poetry; pretend-play; and show-and-tell. Through these fun activities, they will develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English and Mandarin.

Numeracy

Children are introduced to numeracy concepts and skills by learning about the relationships between patterns, shapes, and numbers in their daily routines and the environment. Through different numeracy learning experiences and activities, our children acquire matching, sorting, comparing, counting, and problem-solving skills that can be applied in their daily life.

Discovery of the World

Through purposeful activities and teacher-led experiments, our children are encouraged to develop an awareness of the world around them. They are given opportunities to explore, predict, investigate, and discover why things happen and how things work.
Our children are also exposed to current local and international issues to foster a sense of respect, care and responsibility for the world.

Values, Social & Emotional Competencies and Learning Dispositions

Values, social & emotional competencies and learning dispositions are intentionally and consistently incorporated across the children’s learning experiences and daily activities to lay early foundations for character building and lifelong learning. These learning experiences and activities also encourage our children to identify and talk about what they can do and being confident in what they do.

Through a range of group tasks, our children learn to express and respond to feelings appropriately by sharing, turn-taking, and listening with respect. They are introduced to different holidays and celebrations to understand, respect, and care for people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Aesthetics and Creative Expression (Art & Music)

We encourage out children to develop an interest in art by introducing them to different art elements such as:- lines; colours; shapes; and textures through a range of artworks and art forms.

For music development, our children are encouraged to explore music through singing, body movements and playing percussion instruments. They are also exposed to different types of music, dance performances and popular music pieces from famous composers. The aim is for our children to start cultivating a deeper appreciation of music from young.

Health, Safety and Motor Skills Development

Through daily outdoor play, our children are introduced to a variety of gross-motor skills activities, and they are encouraged to develop an interest in physical activities for a healthy body and lifestyle. They are also taught about the importance of keeping themselves and their friends safe while having fun.

Children also develop their fine motor skills through meaningful games and daily activities such as cutting, painting, tying shoelaces, and building with blocks.

Primary One Preparatory Programme

In preparation for the start of their primary school journey, our Kindergarten 2 children will participate in a programme during the final school term which will build on their academic foundation for English, Mandarin, and math.
